The DKP6 Circular sawmill uses the proven design of the rectangular cutting mechanism, developed by StrojCAD, with two mutually perpendicular saw blades, which allows it to cut "straight" in both directions in a suitable timber range so that the saw capacity can be significantly increased. The robust and precise cutting mechanism allows you to cut a maximum prism of 21 x 21 cm in both directions.
Optimum yield of quality timber
The principle of rectangular sawing
The DKP6 Circular sawmill can cut logs up to 1 m in diameter and up to 12 m in length with a clamping frame length of 18 m. However, even longer trunks can be cut on a custom-made elongate chassis. The use of saw blades with diameters of 400 to 550 mm gives high variability in the timber range. Thus, the customer is also able to use small saw blades with minimal cut thickness to cut small sizes, blanks, radial sawn timber or for cutting precious woods, reducing waste and increasing yield. But even the construction timber is a toy for the DKP6 Circular Sawmill. With the use of 550 mm saw blades, the sawmill can cut all commonly needed building prisms, rafters, grouts,... It is possible to process the entire log into finished products by gradual sawing of individual boards / prisms. Excellent surface quality and high timber accuracy are a matter of course with the DKP6 Circular Sawmill. The two powerful 22 kW cast iron motors, the firm cutting mechanism design and the entire saw head, precise dimensioning and a robust chassis frame ensure reliable and successful operation. Visualization of the cut plane of the horizontal and vertical saw blade on the log with red and green laser beams facilitates the setting of the first and subsequent cuts, increases the yield of lumber and also the cutting performance. The laser beams are always synchronized with the movement of the saw blades. The operator can always see where the saw blades will cut, and it is easier to decide operatively to change the next sawn dimension of lumber or cutting. It significantly facilitates the work even for less qualified operators. Learn more about the benefits of Laser visualization of the cut on the log.
